John Leroy GUILILAMS, 69, Rt 1, Greencastle, died Friday in Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis from injuries suffered in a car-pedestrian accident in Belle Union Dec 16. Mr. Guilliams, a motor route driver for Banner-Graphic was delivering papers when he crossed the belle Union Main Street and was struck by an automobile driven by a rural Cloverdale girl. His death was the 8th highway traffic fatality for Putnam County in 1977. Born May 29, 1980 in Russellville, he was the son of Fred and Laura Grimes Guilliams. A 50-year-member of the Russellville Christian Church and graduate of Russellville schools and Wabash College, he was also a semi-retired farmer. Survivors include his wife, Margie; a son, John Jr, a daughter, Wilma Aletha. A daughter, Wanda Jane preceded him in death in Sept 1963. Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at Whitaker Funeral Home in Greencastle in charge of Rev. Paul Robinson and with burial in Hebron Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-9 p. m. Monday.
